It's 29 degrees today. All I can think about is how to keep my toes and fingers warm...especially when you have places to be, people to see. Fall/Winter might be my favorite times of the year - call me crazy - but especially in NYC. As a west coaster Sagittarius (aka winter baby), I crave those true seasonal changes and winter is one of those times of the year when there is nothing I like more than bundling up with tons of layers and warm shoes. The challenge becomes how to accomplish this without looking like Im a tourist from Fargo. I know I sound like a broken record, but ankle boots are my go to. I came across these navy Opening Ceremony shearling lined booties sold at FarFetch that are actually from 3 years ago - I remember I wanted them in black when they were on sale in the store but I never bought them...These are great because the navy is a tad bit unexpected but would easily look great with an all black ensemble (who said you cant wear black and navy?) or frankly any color AND the best part they will keep your toes from succumbing to the wind chill. By the way, FarFetch has been my secret source for scoring a couple pairs of OC shoes on super sale...
