Still beaming from my trip abroad, I had hoped that I would find a pair of Isabel Marant'esq tan booties between London and Paris. After a day of cruising the streets of Paris hours on end by bike (j'adore velo bleu) I found a
Maje "stock" store between the Marais and Republique where we were staying. I walked in kinda curios - as I know that "sales" really only occur twice a year in most European countries. Apparently, some big brands in Paris have "stock" boutiques that carry only overstock merchandise from past seasons. With eyes on the back of my head, I immediately spotted these beige booties on the floor, only one pair left in my size. Voila - Ill take them - no questions asked. They were quite marked down from their original Fall 2010 price tag and I have been wearing them nonstop since then.
