Found: On Etsy
For the past few months, Ive been on a silk blouse craze. They are really the perfect seasonless shirt for my uniform. One caveat: I refuse to spend $200 on the amazing (but overly priced, yes I know its an investment...) Equipment blouses that come in every color combo you can imagine. So, Ive been trying to get creative. Ive found a couple so far for less than $5 in great solid colors at thrift stores/Goodwill. But I'm pretty sure I scored the perfect "equipment" blouse on Etsy. At $30, a bit more than Id want to spend on "vintage", but well worth the purchase as its in PERFECT condition, no snags, smells, or stains. And its in my favorite color of the moment.

Bunny Be Cool
One of our fabulous readers Agnes from Aix-En-Provence just launched her website for her handmade jewelry called BunnyBeCool (love the name!). Designed with the philosophy of self discovery rooted on inspiration taken from "North America's Indians, their spirit and courage...each is unique with an identity of its own". Loving the materials of leather and silver...so simple and so easily a jewelry staple to be layered and worn with more. Check out her site, plus her blog is full of inspirational photos as well. Thanks for reading Agnes!!

Shoe Du Jour
Todays Shoe Du Jour is a bit of a mystery...hoping and waiting to be solved. I found this image of these kilim inspired boots and about fell off my chair. Its like a magic carpet ride for your feet. These are the dreamiest ankle boots yet. If anyone knows anything about these boots - do share!

Like a Lady
My fall wishlist has consisted of finding the perfect, lady like jacket. Ya know, the Channel boucle'ish wonder, or a dreamy Isabel Marant tweed jacket to vet any boring t-shirt and jeans day (and perhaps lend a tad bit of sophistication to pave my journey into the next phase of adulthood). My top 2 *affordable* choices are this Zara black jacket with gold zippers, and this
B by Malene Birger (that is not normally within any frames of my budget, but as luck should have it I snagged her at the Outnet for 75% off). Luck be a lady.

Shoe Du Jour
Still beaming from my trip abroad, I had hoped that I would find a pair of Isabel Marant'esq tan booties between London and Paris. After a day of cruising the streets of Paris hours on end by bike (j'adore velo bleu) I found a Maje "stock" store between the Marais and Republique where we were staying. I walked in kinda curios - as I know that "sales" really only occur twice a year in most European countries. Apparently, some big brands in Paris have "stock" boutiques that carry only overstock merchandise from past seasons. With eyes on the back of my head, I immediately spotted these beige booties on the floor, only one pair left in my size. Voila - Ill take them - no questions asked. They were quite marked down from their original Fall 2010 price tag and I have been wearing them nonstop since then.

The Cats Meow
Obsessed with Alexa's head to toe look here. BTW - those are Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats that I spotted at Dover Street Market while in London at the beginning of my amazing London/France vacation...and I'm one smitten kitten since then!
