Sleep No More

While I was frantically trying to grab all the Le Labo candles on sale (+ the extra 30% off all sale madness!) at Anthropologie yesterday - my inner Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas perked up when I saw this silk sleep shirt in the sale pajama section! I wasnt too sure about the whole pajama-for-day-wear-trend that is currently happening, but I seriously love the sillouette, colors, and not to mention this is practically the perfect shirt to bring to Baja Mexico over Christmas!!!

Shoe Du Jour

Get your surprise face on. I know, but come on. Opening Ceremony booties called the Brenda, how can I possibly resist the urge to post on such a perfect and predictable boot? The sale season is upon us, and never a bad time to stock up on booties in the most luscious mustard color with the perfect heel height. Lets not forget to mention the Opening Ceremony Sample Sale that starts today (I am refraining from going like a good girl). I die. sigh.

Elle Street Chic

Somehow I made Elle's street chic - which is funny because this is definitely NOT my most chic outfit at all. In fact, this is my rolled-out-of-the-house-searching-for-snacks-in-Soho-no-makeup-outfit on a crazy Black Friday right after Thanksgiving. I'm wearing a men's Gap cargo jacket, Comme Des Garcons sweater (not t-shirt), whatever jeans, and Rachel Comey Boots. Definitely not the most flattering picture but at least I'm wearing something comfy!

Shoe Du Jour

After going through the majority of last years New York blizzard and COLD winter with nothing but wellies and lots of thick socks (I basically ruined some Frye boots as well)...I decided to stock up early and come prepared. For almost 3 years in a row - I waited too late to get my LL Bean Duck boots (they become back-ordered till Feb/March as soon as December/Jan hits) and so this year I proactively ordered these about a month ago. So, water proof/weather proof and NON slippery snow boots...check! Last but not least, Ive been searching for a good winter moccasin or shearling lined bootie that was appropriate enough to wear in public because stiff weather boots can only carry you so far. I found these 100% shearling lined Minnetonka mocc boots at J.Crew (sale + extra 30% off sale!) last week and Im feeling preeeetty good about this coming winter. Cozy feet starts now.

Sometimes there's nothing better than beat up jeans a comfy sweatshirt. I think that's what Sundays are for. Today I popped over to the Steven Alan sample sale (last day = extra discounts...I got a great midi long sleeve wool dress!), let the warm weather confuse me, and took a late afternoon schvitz in the East Village and now I feel like a noodle.
